The Grumpy Jr Repeater

The Grumpy Jr Repeater is our streamlined, more affordable solar-powered MeshCore repeater. It uses a much smaller Grumpy Mesh enclosure, with a stripped-down internal design and fewer features than the Grumpy King Repeaters — giving you the core repeater capability at a more attractive price. It features a Heltec V4 Radio for 27dbm transmitting and wifi firmware updating.

We've taken the Grumpy Mesh design and simplified it without losing the features that matter most. The Grumpy Jr is built around a compact, efficient setup designed for outdoor and off-grid MeshCore deployments.
